Re: SD ammo obsolete?

The fellow I was talking to is one of those who have to have the "latest and greatest" of SD weapons and ammo. He can't understand why I carry a 30+ year old LW Commander. I tell him it is because it is what I am used to, and IT WORKS!!!
Still have a case+ of Speer left. Enough to last a while.

He would really flip if he knew I, on occassion, carry a Colt SAA 4 3/4"in 45LC loaded with Silvertips.

SD ammo obsolete?

I CCW daily, a SIG 220 in 45cal. or a LW Colt Commander also in 45cal.. Several years ago I happened on a estate sale and got a very good price on several (3)cases of Speer Lawman 200gr JHP (AKA "Flying Ashtrays). Recently I have been told that the ammo is obsolete and I should change to "more modern" SD ammo. :???:
Prices and availability being what they are I am loath to change ammo. The Lawman shoot accuratly, and feed 100%. And I still have a case+ on hand. :evil2:
Suggestions?
