IDPA rules state that the minimum caliber to be used is 9x19 , So I would stick to the high point for now untill you can afford something better.bnc wrote:Everything I have heard about HPs indicates they are pretty reliable pistols.
For other low cost options I'd go with some of the 9x18 guns, for IDPA the CZ-82 would be especially nice since it is the largest and highest capacity of the group (the others all hold less than 10 rounds).
