The Glock 30 is quite a lot bigger than the Glock 26. I need the accessory rail in a subcompact so that I can have a small gun that will fit in my pajama pocket for when I walk the dog at 3 a.m. (he is old and has bladder issues). I need the accessory rail for a strobe light/laser combo to mount on the gun since it will be dark when I walk the dog. I have trouble holding a flashlight, gun, and dog at the same time. If I don't hold on to the dog, then he'll run in to the street and get run over.

I heard that the springfield xd subcompact has issues with the grip safety and if you don't grip it just right, then it will not fire. For example, if you grip the gun at an angle due to quick draw in an emergency (oops!), then it won't fire (double oops!). Is this true? Also, I heard that the barrel is more elevated on the xd than on the glock so there's more recoil with the xd. Is this true?

Is there a reliable and tough glock 26 accessory rail mod?

Is there another manufacturer of subcompact 9mm with zero recoil and 10+ rounds of ammo like on the glock 26 but with an accessory rail?
