When I was in the Boy Scouts, our Scoutmaster carried a handgun when we went hiking or camping. All the boys knew it, all the parents knew it. No one cared. We all felt a little safer. At that time you had to jump through hoops to get a license. I don’t think I would have said anything to the guy. The fact he was wearing that badge speaks to his intelligence or lack thereof.
