Have you been recently? there are no overhangs at the benches. I stand and shoot my rifles with no problem all the time...
Are you talking about Garland or Eagle Peak? My comment above was about Eagle Peak. Still go there a lot for pistols, but haven't been to rifle range in a while.
you can stand at Garland (dont know if you are allowed, but the only time I shot an AR thats what I did), eagle peak looks like you can only sit

Whats the deal with wanting to Shoot FMJ? I'm not a Rifle guy, so could someone clue me in?

I thought there was some law about not being able to shoot FMJ from a Rifle unless you have 1000 Yards space or something

Eagle Peak and Garland Gun Range

Eagle Peak and the Garland Gun range are owned by the same guy.

I like both ranges, and have used both ranges for the past year or so.

I just cant stand that they don't accept credit/debit cards.
