As it should be...
I was recently examining guns for CC. I was shown a pistol for "pocket carry". I told the salesman i was going to put the gun in my pocket. I specifically told him I was not trying to steal it. His response was that I wouldn't get far. That he was the only employee that didn't open carry. I said I wouldn't expect to get far, as I had noticed all the sidearms, and didn't want to excite anybody. After examining the "print" in my pocket, I returned the pistol to the counter. We both grinned, and there was no problem. But I sure wouldn't want to try to steal anything from them...

So the implication is that they might shoot you for violating the rules? One would hope they have more sense than that. It's also kinda hard on their customers...

But "No Loaded Firearms" is not a 30.06 sign. So does it necessarily apply to a CHL holder?

Along a similar vein, what about use of a concealed handgun at a shooting range? Can you CC up to the shooting line, then unholster, change ammo to FMJ, and fire away?
