Sounds like he owed HER money, and that's why she was there. And she was worried about his friends so she left, but she took the time to take a picture of the pocketknife? It case gets muddier and muddier.

Based on that, sounds like SYG to me. How'd she manage to grab a rifle without his stopping her? Since Mr. X is involved, i presume she's black?
