We have two xd-40s, xd-40sc and xd-357sig and really like them(too many 45s already). One thing TAM you may not have noticed but instinctively felt when you handled it is the grip angle is the same as a 1911. After shooting 1911s for years the first xd i picked up felt like an old friend and that sold me.
