I think I see the path you are thinking of taking.

I had a Glock 27, bought a conversion barrel. bought the ejector, extractor, and spring loaded bearing to convert it to a Glock 26
Figured why am I doing this? Traded it all for a Glock 26 which I've carried daily for years and years now.

Researched ammo, carry either Hornady Critical Defense or Speer Gold Dots with Stock # 23614 (the low recoil+low flash ones, there are several types of 9mm Gold Dots but # 23614 is the lower recoil ones)

You might look into trading before spending a lot more on various parts trying to build what you like.... I'd have saved $ if I'd have traded sooner.
