Burris makes scope rings that have bushings the rings to get good alignment with no stress on the scope tube. They also make eccentric bushings to address something like this. I used them on one of my silhouette rifles to address the problem of not being able to zero the scope. They worked great and I was able to put the dot the center of the travel (both vertically and horizontally) and have the 10 MOA bump that is needed to adjust the scope for the different distances. Hope this after trying them on that rifle, I have converted most of my rifles to those rings.
