If it hasn't been mentioned, run a couple bowls of water into your holding tank once you get set up before the toilet is used. I have the blued one. Marlin 1894s in .44 Mag tend to run large in the bore. Some are hard to get to shoot accurately. If you reload I highly suggest Beartooth bullets ordered sized .432, 265, 280, & 300gr WFN and keep 'em hot :fire with that slow twist rate. In factory ammo try the Federal or G...

Academy has a bunch of Stevens bolt action rifles. They recently had them on sale for $200. When I asked they said they'd have them on sale again before Christmas. You should check. They come in some calibers that are nice for deer hunting.
