My wife has given me grief for answering the door while "sharpening" my Gerber or while "cleaning" the Beretta, but a couple of times the siding salesman, alarm installer, or whatnot, has leaned way back from me and made quick tracks out of the neighborhood (I'm barely 5'10" but about 210 and tend to get way up in their personal space if I think they're not legitimate.) I also answer for the older ladies who live next door and the very elderly couple across the street, who I keep an eye out for. If they jack with the Army guy down at the corner, now, tough _______ and shame on 'em . You can only mess with the wrong person one time.
