Thanks. Right before I saw your reply I asked an HPD. He said same thing and that is pull up right away on his computer.

I recently moved and just went online to change my address and pay the related fee. My printer got hosed up so I couldn't print the receipt. I am wondering if I'm technically legal to carry with my CHL ID that has my previous address while waiting for the new one. I've searched but couldn't find any...

I went online to change my address and it states:

Address Change (Standard Application) $25.00
Texas.gov Price $27.00

So is it $25, $27 OR $52 to change my address?

I have a very nice Glock 23 Gen 3 with Tru dot night sights. Comes with box, lock, both mags (one has extension on it).

Looking to trade straight up for a nice Glock 27.

Curious: I'm a CHL. If I kept a shotgun in my trunk (and carry my handgun as usual), am I breaking the law? Would the average cop frown upon that? I don't have any real reason for this, but I was just wondering.
