Not yet. By my count, I've been in the system for 50 days today (not counting holidays or weekends).
I moved quite a bit with my job over the last few years and had several job related FBI background checks and fingerprinting sessions and while I'm not sure if any of this would impact what the State of Texas does for CHL...I had the same type of State of Texas background check for my professional license when I moved here and it too took a long time (4 months).
I could be a myriad of things but one of my friends here said, "As soon as you give up, it will come."
The good news is that I have not received anything back in the mail and the website shows "processing application".

Hello all, this is my first post. I'm in Corpus Christi and I wait.
I have my letter dated October 26 with PIN and I'm in que I suppose as the website tells me I'm "In Progress". They're probably having a grand old time with my application and I'm sure at some point someone sat there looking at my packet saying, "What the..."
We'll see.
