To answer honestly, I will tell you that I have no idea where she came from. I did not see her when I walked to the truck from the store...I looked 180 degrees out of habit when I hit the threshold of the store. I believe she saw an opportunity when I looked down to snap the seatbelt. The only things I could do differently is to look up and around when applying the seatbelt and park away from positions of cover opportunity such as columns etc. In a perfect world, I would have preferred to have my American Bulldog in the front seat of the truck as well...I would have known someone was nearby sooner.
