Looks like it is the M1 Carbine that is on the ban list, not the M1 Garand.

Thanks OldGringo. I was looking at that site. Doesnt look like they have updated their pricing in a long time and certainly not after Sandy Hook.

This M1 seems to be in between the CMP Service Grade and Correct Grade.

Based on their pricing, I would say it is about $200 high.

But, after Sandy Hook, I dont know.

I need some advice.

I found a Springfield M1 Garand for $1000.

All original.

Throat measures a 1 and he didnt have a bore guage to test the bore.

Wood is very dark. Dents and dings but no cracks.

Serial starts with 58.

Do I go buy it?
