True, and it says a lot about the state of our republic.philip964 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2023 4:51 pmTrump was immediately accused of being a Russian traitor, and the house and senate backed away from cooperating with him less they be accused of being traitors too. The only time they worked together was to pass a law to allow the local, state and federal government to tax 100% of your yearly income. It was disguised as a “tax cut”. It was also the only time the press went along with Trump by calling it a “ tax cut” without looking further.Boxerrider wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2023 12:28 pm Cornyn was boasting about introducing this recently. I don't think we need a new law to have nationwide carry, we need the unconstitutional restrictions removed.
Despite that, where was the push for nationwide reciprocity when Trump was in the white house and republicans controlled the house and senate?

Ballots in the mail don't bother me - it's the people outside of the USPS I see as the problem. Bulk mailing instead of verifying the requestor as a registered voter, no guarantee that the registered voter is the one who completed and returned the ballot, and the possibilty of returning multiple ballots. Nobody is proposing these changes because they are more reliable format for secure voting, they are proposing them because it makes it easier to vote fraudulently.
There is very, very little fraud involved in mailing chicks. Chicks can go 72 hours after hatching without food and water. They are happy around 100 degrees F - extremely high temperatures can be bad, and low temperatures are worse.
Here's a pretty comprehensive article.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
I have a buddy who is a university professor and large number of their new faculty are working on H1B visas. He says the administration likes them because most will not question any of the poor leadership decisions that get made. I don't mention this to stereotype the workers, who are here doing legitimate work (and some of them very well), but to point out leadership that is entrenched, detached from their student body and the rest of the real world, and is willing to punish anyone who might bring real world consequences to them.

I've used that analogy at work too.

Majority of house members support impeachment.
I’m just not sure if they know what high crime he committed.
