There have been threats made against Joe Horn, and I suspect he's still in quite a bit of danger. Is any type of crime victim's assistance available to him?

Several years ago, I attended a lecture on the profiles of the different types of sex offenders, and I recall the speaker telling us that various law enforcement departments offer services (mental health and/or legal assistance) to crime victims. However, the victims he was speaking of at the time were victims of sex crimes. Obviously, Joe Horn doesn't fit into that category; however, he's a crime victim nonetheless. Just curious as to what's being done to protect him.
