How does DeGuerin know it's a "fine" family? Or does that just translate to RICH? And what does that have to do with the crime for which his client has been accused? Robert Durst was from a "fine" family too...Doesn't change the fact Durst killed someone, proceeded to chop the body up into pieces, then dispose of it in Galveston bay to cover up the incident. Oh wait, Durst walked didn't he?...Yup, another "fine" family. Please disregard...My blood sugar must be getting low or something.
Perfectly stated.

We did some checking and found that this isn't Hare's first brush with the law. He was convicted of disregarding a peace officer in 2006. In 2004, he was convicted of misdemeanor drug possession. We also found an indictment of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. It was dismissed.
Of course, if he were convicted he still could be on the streets. This is still one of my pet peeves when people want to give leniency to criminals with a long history of crime, just because they commit "non-violent" crimes.
Assault with a deadly weapon is not a non-violent crime.

Re: Chili's Manager Shot to Death by Disgruntled Customer

We also found an indictment of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Why wasn't he still behind bars for this?
