What I mean is a will just shoot several shots before I even look at what the first one did so that if I miss I have insurance and if I hit but only nicked the bad guy the second shot will proably either demoralize him enough as to stop or demobilize him. I am not talking about seeing how many holes I can make before the cops arrive, not at all.
As for my description of criminals in general, ya, the language was on the rough side...If a criminal dies trying to do harm to someone I don't have sympathy for them, my feeling is that if they don't want to get shot, they should not break into houses for a living.
