I was thinking of opening up a dialog with her about firearms during one of the breaks, but decided against it.

I had to report for jury duty today.

I haven't been disarmed for that long in a while.

Seeing the bailiff and the two officers stationed outside the courtroom with their firearms on their hips just kept serving as a constant reminder that I could not carry mine. I felt so naked!

I'm so fortunate not to have been picked as a juror so as not to have to endure such a cruel fate any longer.

Does anyone have any remedies to the firearm deprivation trauma I've had to endure?

Maybe a walk through a crowded Wal-Mart?

Maybe firing a few thousand rounds down range?

There must be something I can do to get over this severe traumatic event.
