Can I assume you mounted the Magpul MBUS sights to avoid having to remount the original sights if you took the reflex sight off or the battery failed? Or was there another reason? Thanks.

You are correct. I wanted something that could stay on the gun sighted in and ready to use if the reflex sight failed. We have been caught on the range with battery failure before and kept on truckin with the MBUS. I carry a spare battery now, lol. Lesson learned! I took the original irons off because they were to much in the way of the reflex. I suppose I could have mounted the reflex on a riser and left the original irons on but thought it would be better to get the irons completely out of the way which the MBUS does wonderfully.

Great little plinker. The whole family has fun with this gun. I took the iron sights off, put on Magpul MBUS sights along with a cheap sightmark reflex sight and she's good to go. Alot of fun. I dont think I would do anything else to ours.
