For real??? So asking why a person would feel the need to carry a weapon in the trunk is somehow inflammatory? .
No sir it's not, and if that is what had been done in a polite manner, respectable, I would not have posted what i did.

When I get home I'll be installing two more carbine mounts in my new car... as it's the same basic body style as my 05.. I can take that experience and go from there. I'll post pictures perhaps then. :thumbs2:

This, MAG locks with key override.
I can tell you a M4 fits un noticed in a locked Mustang trunk, to the point several LEO's have looked casually and not seen it (friends of mine, not during a real stop) It also fits under the front edge of the rear seat, to the point it can not be seen from the out side, and more then one person has sat in the back, and not know it was there until it was pointed out there was an M4 behind their feet.
