OK but we're talking about shooting lead, not jacketed bullets. As I said, I know there are folks that have done it but I personally wouldn't because there are plenty of documented failures from it happening.

Most if not all polygonal barrel manufacturers say to not use lead in their barrels. Glock is no exception to this. Googling Glock Kaboom will give you plenty of hits and horror stories. There are also people that have said they haven't had a problem. It's not something I'd chance and wouldn't use lead without having an aftermarket barrel that does not have polygonal rifling.

I can appreciate instant gratification but I'd recommend holding onto the G21 unless you're convinced you don't want it anymore. The fact you wrote this thread tells me you're not convinced yet.
