The mag did feel cheaper than other mags I've had before I will get a new mag and see if that helps. Will any 7 round 1911 mag work. I know don't buy cheap mags just never had a 1911 before now. It's stainless steel if that helps.

Just bought a 1911 and I took it to the local range and I got through 2 mags fine and than noticed I was having trouble with the last round FTF problems. Maybe 3 times out of 100 rounds loading full mags. Is there really a break in period on modern 1911s or is that a myth. Would it be a weak mag spr...

In my quest to find a gsg 1911 .22 I came across a gun store on mason road. It's called tactical firearms. Their price was 25 dollars less than fountian firearms. And they had 12 in stock. Thanks for the help. The staff is very friendly an I will be picking one up on Friday range report to follow!

Thanks for th clairification. I am no way worried about her getting my gun while she is intoxicated as we are very responsible about gun ownership. I just wanted to make sure we were following the rules.

Got in a scuffle with the wife over this. If I am carrying and she is not it is ok for her to drink as long as I have my gun on my persons right? And as long as it's not accessable to her while we are In the car? And if we both are carrying and I decide to have a drink can she just carry mine on her...
