Look at this!
You think the man in a 600 Dollar banana suit is going to hijack your thread? Come on!

Which is why I wish I was born in 1800's. Open carry, and they hung horse thieves on the spot. What ever happened to the good ol' days?Mac1972 wrote:They would not have to change the constitution. They can regulate us into de facto submission. The gov. could levy taxes on parts, ammo, accessories to the point where we could not afford their use, they could also mandate ownership fees/permits/licences at such prohibitive cost as to virtually disarm the American public.
This among other tings is why I even rebel against the notion of a CCW permit. The 2nd Amendment says our right to keep and bare arms shall not be infringed, I feel the need for state controlled permitting is an infringement. I further suggest there be absolutely no laws of any kind that would prohibit, curtail, restrict in any way ones right to bare arms at his or her own discretion, concealed or otherwise, any where they wish to go...ie., across state lines, to the local Chilli's/bar, Ranger games, to school to pick up our children/ grandchildren...anywhere, period.
How long would it take if confiscation became the law of the land before violence broke out. Who would be the new Minutemen that stood on a bridge and said N O you shall not pass? How long...

ScottDLS wrote:The UN Police Force will come in black helicopters. You'll recognize them by their powder blue helmets. They have a mind control ray that they broadcast into your house. It forces you to retrieve all your guns and place them in a trash bag on your front lawn for collection.
To beat this you take a baseball cap and cover it with tin foil inside and out. You crumple up some more foil and make two antennae that stick up like horns. These are the ray foiling reflectors. The ray will not affect you and instead will be reflected back.
Anyway, what do you need guns for? They're dangerous. You are probably one of those people with a semi-automatic-assault-weapon with a 200round banana clip that sprays armor piercing dum-dum bullets at 2000 per second. Only the Carrollton Police are highly trained enough to be trusted with guns.
I agree the idea is far fetched to say in the least, but I'm a worrier... and an eagle scout, so as they say, "Be prepared".

What if (God forbid)...
I know this *might* make me seem a little paranoid, but has anyone here contemplated what would happen if the fed government (GOD Forbid) outlaws guns? As CHL holders, we would be on a very short list of people who the government KNOWs owns at least one firearm. I know the folks at the NRA and many other organizations are working round the clock to prevent this, and I pay my dues for this very reason, but crazier things have append. This hasn't really worried me all that much, but I just thought I'd bring it up.
