Let's bear in mind that I do not want to become a case study during the ohbahma reinforced recession. Just looking for any factual information on whether or not they are on firm legal ground to require submission of my license for me to carry to the parking lot.

Anyone have their employer enact policy that states to comply with new weapons rules you must submit a copy of your CHL to Human Resources to have a gun in your car in the parking lot? My employer says failure to do so will result in termination. Any info or thoughts appreciated.
