It depends on what you want to do with the gun. I put adjustables on mine to begin with, when the tritium died I replaced them with fixed. It now shoots point of aim at 25 yards.

Glock plastic factory sights are horrible. The front post is .165 wide and the rear notch is .135 wide. Sure there is a big white dot on the front and a big white U on the back but you don't see any real open space or light on either side of the front post.
I have no experience with Glock factory metal sights. Look at Ameriglo Defoor sights for a good sight picture that is fast, accurate and inexpensive.
3. Do the standard sights hit point of aim fairly well?
