When I bought the Sig P-230 about 15 yrs ago I picked it for Sigs reputation for reliability and it has lived up to it. I love my 1911's but my Sigs are the only handguns I own that have never malfunctioned in any way.

Just about everything to do with carrying is compromise and some sacrifice. Dress habits, comfort, barrel length, caliber. I'm gonna spend some time researching the best ammo. I believe there is some good info on here but some half baked theories and opinions come along with that,I have some of those too.

I have a Sig P-230 but church or gym is about the only place I carry it. Lately I've been keeping it in my wife's console in her car anyway. I used to keep Magsafes in it all the time because they were suppossed to be so awesome but then I started reading negative things about them. Since then it's mostly Hydra-shoks. Short barrels make a borderline caliber even worse.
