Try not to stress over it too bad. I took the same route you did. I applied online and then submitted the supporting paperwork via USPS. As you can see in my signature, it took around 2 weeks for them to begin "processing" my application. Apparently, they do a number of pre-work steps before entering the application into the system for official processing.KinArlington wrote:Still nothing on the DPS site. So does that apply to those of us who are in the "Manufacturing/Printing" stage? . She did say that FBI background checks are still on hold because of the census thing. And she told me that the wait time is 60 days from their receipt of your application. In other words, don't be calling us and bothering us until after 60 days. Be patient, all good things come to those who wait.
