UPDATE..... I HAVE BEEN STOPPED TWICE SINCE I STARTED THIS POST. THE FIRST STOP WAS BY A HOUSTON POLICE OFFICER. I WASN'T CARRYING BECAUSE I WAS AT WORK. I DIDN'T SHOW THE OFFICER MY CHL. HE ASKED WHY I DIDN'T SHOW MY CHL AND I TOLD HIM I WASN'T CARRYING. HE PROCEEDED TO ARGUE ME DOWN AND TELL ME T...

I have read on a couple of websites that when not carrying, one does not
have to show their CHL to a police officer when stopped. However, i can't
find this in writing or published as a state law (house bill). Can someone
point me to where I can find this info? Thanks.
