I believe that there are far more people who DO CARE than you might believe. The good news for us is that most of those same people live their lives in condition white and the thought of someone carrying a gun near them hasn't crossed their mind. The reason that they don't say anything about bulges, etc is they just never consider the possibility of a gun. Think I'm wrong? Let's look at how quickly a lot of the open carry guys are reported.
What I'm thankful for about CC in Texas is that almost 600,000 of my closest friends have shown themselves to be model citizens and that it is a rare occasion over the past 15 years (even when those numbers were lower) when one of them runs afoul of the law. I believe it is that history that allows the condition white antis to not consider guns in their midst. The more we push that envelope, the more likely that will plant ideas in their heads. I know a couple of them who would watch more closely than those on this forum do for the slightest hint of a concealed gun. The combination of paranoia and being a control freak isn't good if we manage to arouse them.
