The safest place for my pistol is on my hip, not in the trunk of the car. Management companys aren't ignorant of the law. Non-compliant signage that doesn't carry enforceable weight seems to satisfy everyone. Well, almost everyone.

Re: Verizon Theater GP - Pending
Which is ANOTHER law that needs to be cleaned up. I have been in places where the sign was not visible until you are on the way out and had been in violation for over an hour. The signs at GP Verizon were never legitimate, improper size and such. There was one at the front door and if it is not there now, it has been taken down besides being unenforceable in the first place (City Property).[/quote]
Which, thanks to your efforts, unenforceable signage can easily be replaced by correct enforceable signage. We, (bride and I), have been carrying legally off and on at Verizon for a few years now. That might now change.
Maybe its better to ignore rather than stomp on non-threating snakes. You could inform the mgt at a local Mall and local politicans that correct legal signage is missing on one of the entrances.

Re: Verizon Theater GP - Pending
I dunno. I do know that it was not an issue the times that we visited. Dunno know about now. Things do change. Occasionally for the better.
We even saw diverse talent ranging from Elmo with some Grand-Kiddos, and, regretabally, Aretha.
Just guessing, I'd imagine, someone like Dan Rather-Not, Barbara S., Barbara Wa-Wa, BHNoNutsO, and such crittlers as that, could , if they had enough draw, insist on prelimanary body searches televised on MTV as a pre-condition for them to grace the stage.
Verizon calls the shots. And Verizon posted the Gun Buster. They aren't dumb.
Sometimes, we gotta chose the battles.
I have tilted at a windmill. I do think timing is important.
Keep the information flowing.

Re: Verizon Theater GP - Pending
We have been there a few times. There was no magnetic, or wanding those times. The ticket taker did take a peek into my wife's purse to ensure there wasn't any recording device. My wife's 'purse' looks about the size of a diaper bag for triplets.

Re: Verizon Theater GP - Pending
Verizon had (has?) a 'gun buster' sign on the glass door. Thats a sleeping dog that I wouldn't disturb. Regarding the illegality of the gun buster, I don't see the need bring that to their attention.
