+1 for Browning quality, and that is a very nice looking gun.
You say you have held one. How does it fit you? How does it feel when you swing it? Don't overlook the fact that gun "fit" is very important with a shotgun. Your eyes are the sights.

Re: Strange Failure to Fire
Ran 100 rounds through the XDS9 today, two different brands of ammo, zero issues.

Re: Strange Failure to Fire
Give us a range report next time you shoot the XDS and I will do the same. Hopefully after some more break-in and fresh ammo they will be 100%.

here is the link. http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/xd-s-discussion-room/238511-xds-light-strikes.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I'm hoping my new gun doesn't have a problem too. Seems like some of the reports about the light strikes are caused by the gun not fully going in...

Re: Strange Failure to Fire
I had this happen with my new xds9 a week ago. One time out of 120 rounds. There are some threads about light primer strikes over on the xdtalk forum. Check your striker and channel to see if it is full of oil. Mine had some in it (the gun in general seemed over-lubed from the factory). I cleaned my...

Re: Bolting Down Safe
I paid a locator to scan my floor and show me where the cables were before drilling. It was worth the cost for my peace of mind. I photographed my floor showing a tape measure pulled off walls to the pieces of tape that we marked the cables with for my future reference should I ever install a larger...

Re: Private Property Posted Parking
For clarification: are you asking if you can put up a sign to keep people from keeping their firearms in their vehicle, or have you seen such a sign and want to know if it is proper under the law? I have never personally seen a garage or parking lot posted, but have seen one discussed in a previous...

Re: Private Property Posted Parking
But wouldnt you be trespassing? Lets keep a school out of the conversation because a school is listed in 46.035 where they DO define premesis. Lets stick with private property like a hotel parking lot that isnt specifically mentioned in 46.035. premesis gets defined in PC §46.035. UNLAWFUL CARRYING ...

Private Property Posted Parking
Please help me clarify this. A private business, say a hotel for example, can legally post a parking garage or parking lot with a proper 30.06 sign, and this would be off limits to a CHL holder to enter and park there, even if the gun is left in the vehicle? The definition of " premises" a...

Re: HB 2756 Open Carry bill reported favorably
I'm afraid if open carry passes we will see a lot more 30.06 postings. I don't see OC as a good thing, I like concealed.
The state needs to hurry up and pass the parking lot bill though.
