You're not alone. I sent my application in on June 16th and they sent me a letter yesterday that I needed to confirm my citizenship even though I sent in a copy of my passport with the application :banghead: My background is squeaky clean, I haven't even been stopped by a police officer ever so hope...

I finally have status! It looks like the guys that said it usually takes about 3 weeks after you send the packet in if you didn't file it online were spot on. I have lived in another state the last 5 years so I'm sure the background check will take a while.

06/17 but so far I can't see it online. My suggestion, forget about it until after July 4th, then check online, it may or may not be there yet, but being it will be 40 days until you get plastic, and probably July 7 or 8 before anything shows up anyway, just kick back, read the forum, learn as much...

Hi, I'm new to this forum but I've been lurking for a while. I sent in my application on 06/17 but so far I can't see it online. I wish I had FedEx'ed it instead of sending it via USPS so I at least knew they had received the application for sure
