TAM, the post that you put up is spot on. In the eyes of someone with a hightened situational awareness, such as yourself and many members of this board, the actions of the two girls appears stupid. It is very easy for you to see a Jack in the Box at that time of night in that part of town is a dangerous place to be. To the VAST majority of people in our society, who have virtually no situational awareness, the jack in the box is just a source of tasty little $.99 tacos. They perceive no risk whatsoever.
To them, even in retrospect, what they were doing was not stupid since they probably have not been taught to be situationaly aware.
If anything, my sympathy for them is hightened instead of dampened. They were victimized by a worthless slug, and they were toatally unprepared to avoid being victimized by said slug since no one had engrained in them the need to know your surroundings and evaluate their risk prior to acting.

Re: Finally, a CHLer is portrayed as the victim
The point is, while they were engaging in behavior that put them at risk, they didn't deserve to be carjacked and raped because they had the munchies on the way home from the club (assuming that is what was happening since it's the only reason I have ever been at a Jack in the Box drive through at 0230). I agree with the earlier post, too bad brother wasn't a better shot.Oldgringo wrote:I don't have to get a grip, etc., etc. and some more etc. It wasn't I who was out at 2:30 in the morning having uh...fun in my Mustang convertible.gemini wrote:
