Just to put this issue to bed, I'm on one of the rodeo committees and have spent quite a bit of time at the HLSR. When working my committee, I am legal to carry unless I work on the portion of the committee that takes the rodeo contestants inside the stadium. There are no 30.06 signs anywhere. Unless you go inside the ticket scanners, through the rodeo contestant entrance, into the hideout or any other club on the grounds, your good to go.

I have discussed this with both HPD and Harris County officers (they visit our area often because we always have food/donuts/coffee/ice cream there :mrgreen: ), and you are good to go at the livestock show, carnival, and vendor booths. There may be a sticky issue at the horse arena, the cutting horses have a pro class that some over ambitious DA could call a professional sporting event.
