Whoa Couzin, now hang on there.couzin wrote:My attitude has been called into question by many way up the command chain, and by just as many down the chain. It is what it is by your interpretation. i was just informing the guy that the regulation is enforced - that is all. SHOULD I encounter an individual that has a weapon, then my duty is clear - however I should chose to deal with it. That being aside from nothing, I did not make any "threat" to anyone. Don't like my response - I have an attitude - fine - plenty of other lists and or forums to go to and I will leave you to this one. Bye!Diode wrote: Oh! Boy! I guess it boils down to this (at least for me); if you encounter a CHL holder who happens to be carrying
in your jurisdiction where the current law states that they should NOT be carrying,
would you 1) arrest; 2) suggest that they should NOT be carrying and that they need to do something with their
otherwise legal weapon; or 3) something else?
I really would like to hear what you believe your duty/response SHOULD be, and more importantly, WOULD be.
Thanks for your service and your response.
Kind Regards,
