Thats a fair point of view, I dont think one is better then the other, but I also dont think one is any worse. while their have not been a lot of big changes in iOS. I run into a lot of people who seem to be under the impression that their are tons of ground breaking features that Android offers that iOS cant match. while in reality the differences are mostly related to user interface customization which can be a very good reason to pick android, but not necessarily ground breaking.snatchel wrote:Hmm. By antiquated I mean that nothing has really changed since the 3G. They added Siri (meh) and a few integrated software things like Facebook & twitter... But otherwise iOS is business as usual for the last 6 years. This may very well be because it WORKS. I dunno, I don't support change for the sake of change, but I suppose I more or less simply grew tired of the status quo.
I'm not going to go so far as to say the Android is better than iOS, but it definitely allows the user to do more. Don't like the way your screens or apps are arranged? No prob. Don't like your keyboard? No prob. I'm enjoying the freedom that the HTC gives me.... But I agree that the utopia set up, regulated, and enforced by Apple in their phones is comfortable. It just got boring.
Oh, and the battery on my HTC One lasts all day under heavy use. My iPhone 5 couldn't do that :(
on a side note, a coworker just purchased the HTC One this weekend and I do admit it is a pretty slick phone.
