In the forms business, yellow paper is sometimes referred to as "goldenrod".
That might help in your search.

Re: Application Packets
Not sure who you were asking, but here's my take.longtooth wrote:What would be your oppinion of have a professional printer do some in yellow if it really gets tough.???
I can't imagine anyone at DPS would notice (or be able to tell) where the application came from.
Although a professional printer (Office Depot, Staples, etc.) could do it, it might be cheaper to just buy the right color paper and print them yourself. Either way, this seems like a non-issue. Sort of "don't ask, don't tell).

Re: Application Packets
I'm not an instructor, so my knowledge on "instructor things" borders between very little and non-existant.longtooth wrote:Not dumb at all. I wanted to.Pawpaw1 wrote:Please excuse me if this is a dumb idea.
Has anyone considered scanning one into a PDF file so you can print as many packets as you need?
It seems like that would work until DPS gets their stuff together.
I could do it for you, if I had a blank application.
I have talked to them & that is a no-no. The forms that are down loadable on line are OK to copy but I talked to them this morning & the Application itself is a no.
When they get it up loaded on the DPS site we will be able to download them from there but until get the packets from them, apply on line, or borrow.![]()
2 responses for packets so I should have enough on the way. Thanks folks. If I can help in the future I am willing.
As I understand it, the applications are not numbered any more, so how could they tell the difference between a scanned & printed form and a copy? My multi-function printer will make copies and it's nothing more than "scan & print".
I don't doubt that's what they told you, but that's just dumb.

(The answer is dumb, not you.)
