It took about three days of manufacture pending. It took mine five days from the time it went to mailed to the time it hit my mailbox. I'm up by Plano.budroux2w wrote:I thought the wait for BGC was bad... I'm going crazy waiting for it to change to mailed! lol

Got home late last night to find one CHL in my mailbox. I'm legal now...probably won't be able to Wally Walk until the weekend, but it is coming soon. ![clapping :clapping:](./images/smilies/clapping.gif)

I'm the same height, much more "portly." There ain't no way that an ITWB would work for me...in any event I hope to have the Wally Walk done this weekend if the postal guy will just deliver my plastic.paltexvet wrote:5'11 at 170lbs it was a very comfortable wear.![]()

Re: June 2010 applications
So how long did it take from Austin to your mailbox? Mine mailed on 7/23/10 and I have not got it yet, although I would expect to have it by Saturday. I was thinking to myself that I have never seen something go through the USPS so slow. Does DPS has a special "really slow shipping" program with the postal service or something? It is odd to me.TexasTony wrote:Well, my plastic arrived yesterday in the mail! It took 55 days from mailing to receipt of license. I will probably change my sig, so here are the complete stats.
CHL course Taken: 5/22/2010
Application Mailed: 6/1
Packet Received: 6/4
Online status visible: 6/30
Ink fingerprints rejected for quality: 7/5
Electronic fingerprints taken: 7/8
Fingerprint Complete: 7/15
Background check complete: 7/17
Mailed: 7/22
Plastic: 7/26
I hope for speedy completion for all the other June apps! I'll still hang around, this thread has the best people
What is really freaking me out is how patient I have been since it mailed out.

I don't know how it is not blocked here. Everything associated with firearms is blocked because it is a "weapons" category with out internet police, but I can get into this one. Go figure.canvasbck wrote:Also need your toolbar at the bottom set on autohide.Teamless wrote:just learn the "Alt-Tab" and make sure you have another window open, so Alt-Tab will put your other screen on top in an instant
None of this does me any good since TexasCHLForum is blocked at work.

Re: June 2010 applications
Checked Texas Online for fun this morning and noticed I have updated to "manufacturing pending." The BGC is finally done! 50 days from receipt to manufacturing pending status. It is looking like it will be a 60 day turnaround from start to finish for me.
Very nice to see that BGC check green this AM.
