Movie makers like doing that with pump shotguns too. They show a guy walking around with the gun at the ready as he searches the area for the bad guy, then when the bad guy pops up from around the corner, the GG always pumps the gun before firing it.
You can watch a whole swat team about to storm into a crack house. Every one of them rack a round as they announce to each other... READY?

Didn't even think about the pump shotgun...very true though. I guess I am doing the CC thing all wrong. I need to NOT keep a round chambered so it has a bigger big screen impact if I need to draw my weapon.
