I too am very disappointed that TX recognizes carry permits issued in a few states that DO NOT reciprocally honor a TX CHL.

being the the money for the permits is what is used to fund our program here I too think Texas should require permits to be issued by the state that the person's has residents in. So live in Texas should equal support texas. After that if you want permits from elsewere for reason of travle then go you should be allowed to support those states programs as well.

I also think Chas has the right awnser, teach the classes there. or teach both as a 2 day class.
