Ben Franklin once wrote, "I wish the Bald Eagle had not been chosen as the representative of our country; he is a bird of bad moral character; like those among men who live by sharking and robbing, he is generally poor, and often very
LOUSY.
The turkey is a much more respectable bird."

Word Scrambler II - off-topic fun
For those of you that didn't catch the original word scrambler, here are the simple rules:
(1) you may keep the same letters or swap 1 letter in the word for a new letter of your choice (it will always be 5 letters)
(2) you may re-arrange the letters to make a new word, whether you changed a letter or not
(3) you may add commentary above or below the new word, but the new word should be in all caps and in a row of its own.

In honor of the upcoming national holiday, I will start with a quote from Abraham Lincoln's Proclamation of Thanksgiving from 1863: I do therefore invite my fellow citizens [...to...] fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty Hand to heal the wounds of the nation and to restore it as soon as may be consistent with the Divine purposes to the full enjoyment of
PEACE
harmony, tranquility and union.
