Better deals on rifle ammo?

Here's what I've been paying at Ammoman.com for rifle ammo: 5.56 55gr FMJ Lake City: 447.50/1000 5.56 55gr FMJ Wolf: 219.00/1000 7.62X39 125gr FMJ: 209.00/1000 .50 BMG 249.00/100 They don't charge for shipping. Has anyone found better deals locally on rifle ammo? Thanks, Derek :txflag:

Re: .380 Semi Autos

My Bersa Thunderer digests all brands of ammo well except for Blazer ammo. This may be in part to a couple of things; I've less than 300 rounds through it and the slide/receiver contact is still slightly "gritty" from machining imperfections, even with sufficient Gunslick. That, and the le...

ask him what a Huot or a Blish device is. If he can't answer those questions, tell him thanks but no thanks. Y'all have a happy Fourth! :patriot: :txflag: Just so you don't have to google it, A Huot is a fine looking woman. A Blish is what you do when she turns around and notices that you are notic...

Re: Where's the land (range) of the free?

Further, I'm not the one offering my unwelcome and inaccurate opinions at the range, I leave that to others. I know what you mean... I went to the range today as a personal birthday present. I typically bring some other folks with me because I love to spread the enjoyment of firearms and the compan...

Re: Where's the land (range) of the free?

Try NTSA (North Texas Shooting Association, I think) just north of Denton. I don't know their specific rules on the things you mention below, but they are a club so their rules may vary from the public ranges. Thanks Tregs, I looked them up online and NTSA might just be the ticket. I'll physically ...

:iagree: :iagree: :iagree: He would be escorted off our club's range by the Sheriff's Department. Escorted off for doing what? Nothing I suggested I should be able to do at a rifle range is illegal. I simply feel it's important to be proficient with my firearms and to gain said proficiency requires...

Where's the land (range) of the free?

I'm looking for a rifle range near Denton County where I can shoot my various rifles from 5.56 NATO to .50 BMG from other than a bench. I've never shot a big game animal or a bad actor from a bench...it's always been either prone, sitting or off-hand. The two rifle ranges I've been to since I moved ...

Re: Why does it seem like 1 in 4 gun ranges are full of jerk

I find that a lot of small people are attracted to positions of authority, not to better the venue they are associated with, but to be able to exert some control, finally, over someone else. Some RO's (Range Officers) are no different than the Hall Monitor we all used to hate in High school or the p...
