I guess there really isn't much to add to the above. I am in Mexico. and I realy do wish I could carry here. I finding myself wishing that I had my piece with me. One thing to note though is that this place has millitary and Federales road blocks all over the place. the do search the vehicles and ones person looking for contraband. The folks here though are facinated by the concept of concealed cdarry. Probably though ones life it more at risk in the most areas from the drivers. They are deadly!

That being said Cozemel and Cancun are relatively safe places. and I wouldn't hesitate to go there [abbreviated profanity deleted] a vacation. Most of the border towns are ok for a short day trip. but I wouldn't advise straying from the main areas, nor wandering at night. I would not go into Nuevo Larado that is a very dangerous town.
