The question remains though, "What were they looking for?"The Annoyed Man wrote:Probably, you're right. The thought occurs to me only because of the number of times I've read of LEO contacts on these pages where the LEO in question appeared to be somewhat ignorant of CHL rights and requirements. I suppose that the number of well-informed officers outnumbers those who are poorly informed; and I'm sure that individual officer attitudes toward CHL are probably often the results of their department's corporate culture and of their department's attitude towards CHL.killerfly128 wrote:I am sure if a woman had produced a CHL before the constable looked in the purse it would have been a non issue. The Annoyed Man wrote:We went to the Ft Worth (LaGrave Field) rally. I carried in without any problem. Constables were at the gate, asking to look in purses and handbags, but not searching any men. We hooked up with killerfly128 while we were there.
I'm actually curious as to what constables would have done had they found a woman carrying a gun in her purse, as long as she was able to produce a CHL.

Re: Tea Party Carry? LGC §215.001
Went to the Tea Party on NASA Rd 1 near Seabrook. Was Great, Ron Paul spoke and he was at his best.
Great to be along so many thinking folks. I was well armed. I didn't recognize any fellow CHLers but then again I don't know what many look like.
Looked to me like there was over 1500 people maybe 2500.
