One question was posed (very timidly) about a homeowner being armed, and the answer was a rather terse maybe, but probably not advisable because of the greater danger of the homeowner shooting him/her self. This has still got to be an issue of local environment and upbringing. It seems that the ONLY mindset that is promoted on any media outlet is the big city elitist mentality. Almost the same as the political mindset of not fighting back against an enemy because we may upset them more.
I watched the same show, and was just as shocked about the advice, except my perception about the question of homeowners owning guns was positive in light of the stance about cooperating. I was sort of surprised when they actually advocated having a gun in ones home. Of coarse there were the standard, caveats about getting training, checking with the local police department (Yeah, sure thing
