I spoke to one of the DPS Officers in the ER, who was there with an unrealated party. He said that The Texas DPS would remain a ZERO tolerance enity where unlicensed firearms were concerned. He also added that by carrying an unlicensed firearm in your vehicle it could/would add much unneeded woes to simple charges. But, this is America and that was your choice! I might add, this guy was waiting on his CHL to arrive any day in the mail.
