Re: What to do if you are "made"?
I was flat out "made" one day. Working on a sink at a location owned by my company and in the ackward position you put your body to climb a 76 inch frame under a sink my shirt pulled up. I figure i was exposed for probably 20 minutes, and at least 3 or 4 dozen people saw me, none took noti...

I use a Camelback http://www.uspatriottactical.com/camelbak-mule-100-oz.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Holdover from my military days. Noone thinks twice about it, and it has a pouch inside the front zipper that a walther P22, XD9 or any small frame auto / Jframe fits ...

Re: Legal Carry in this situation? (work)
Tact i think you hit the nail on the head. We are moving further from the issue. As the OP the question asked is am i legal to carry in the parts of the building (note they have different physical addresses, but are part of the same building) that have a different address from the one with the posti...

Re: Legal Carry in this situation? (work)
The nature of my work is domestic violence: The location in question is dedicated to counceling the abuser (as opposed to the victim) Means clients are generaly court ordered to be there, in many cases these individuals have protective orders against them, so they cant have a weapon period. The othe...

The 30.06 sign is posted on the side owned by the hospital, but the hospital ownership is not really an issue. No hospital staff or activities take place there. Yes the sign is compliant...I put it up in response to an incident at our location with the clientel that walk through that door exclusively.

Legal Carry in this situation? (work)
Basically, i need to know if anyone can point to any case law or other thing that would answer this definitively one way or another: Facts: 1) Company policy says "an employee will not carry a weapon...". I have never been verbally told not to carry a weapon. IMO Concealed is Concealed and...

Re: Let's carry to the State Fair on Friday Sept 24 !
I went in the "front" gate @ the Dart rail dropoff. There were wanders, and a sign saying "no weapons of any kind"..."valid CHL report to the security supervisor"... Anyway, so we go up to the line, the wander stops her wand on my weapon, and says "whats this sir&q...

Re: Will I be "profiled" for my age?
I have to agree w/ Longtooth on this one. I am 25 myself, first applied for my CHL at age 19. Spent 6 years in the military (age 17-24) and have had MANY run-ins with a LEO. Mainly because i'm a slightly aggressive driver who used to (though i do not any more, tickets are pricy) speed regularly, and...

Re: Are Hawaiian shirts really cliche?
To the OP. YES! Hawaiian shirts are really cliche, especially for the younger than 40 agegroup. That said, I'm a bit of a hick so i just wear an untucked checkered button up, or pearl snap.

It is my understanding that a Dr.'s Office is not by default a hospital any more than a lawyer's office is a courtroom. IANAL

Indeed it is lean. So lean infact that you have to add fat to make sausage. Makes great ground and amazing steaks, not so good on the brisket or ribs though, not enough fat to smoke properly.Purplehood wrote: If I recall correctly it is actually a very lean-meat.
